In this tutorial we gonna learn how to turn a boring flat logo, into a powerful semi-realistic graphic, using only a single texture. We’ll be using Affinity Designer for the first part and then, we’ll be switching to Affinity Photo to apply the final touches. All these techniques can be perfectly replicated in Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo for Mac and Windows as well.
If you’re into textures (as we do) and want to have more insights on the topic, you can check out our tutorial about using textures in Affinity Designer. Also, if you want to learn more cool effects that you can create using the Layer Effects Panel in Affinity Designer and Photo, you may want to have a look at our Introduction to Text Effects tutorial we made a while ago.
