Desktop Installation
Today we’ll learn how quickly and easily importing Affinity Assets (.afassets) files is. These file types will work in Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, and Affinity Publisher.

The first step would be opening the Assets Panel if you haven’t done so already.

From this Panel, select the option Import Assets…

Browse and select the files with the .afassets extension you’d like to import. Click Open to load them into the app.

Depending on the contents of each Library, you’ll need to wait a few seconds until all Assets have been loaded.

And that’s all, folks! You’re ready to mess around with your brand-new assets. Just drag and drop each element onto your artboard, rotate and scale as needed, and you’re good to go.
iPad Installation

You’ll find the Assets Panel on the Apple iPad at the right. Look for the grid-like icon.

From the top-right hamburguer menu, select Import Category.

Tap the .afassets files you want to import.

Look for your newly installed Assets in the dropdown menu and, that’s it!
