Urban sketching intimidate people. Perspective, proportions, a hundred windows to keep straight — urban sketching turns into a technical exercise before it ever becomes fun. That fear of getting it “wrong” is what kills a good sketching session, not lack of skill.
In this video I sketch two street scenes from Lisbon straight off photos, using the same six-stage Procreate process built into Squid, what I call Stage Thinking.
